Raising a Data Protection Concern

The Faculty of Advocates are committed to protecting your personal information and handling any concerns in a fair and open way.

If you are unhappy with how your personal information has been used, you can make a complaint to us. This could include concerns about how your data has been collected, used, shared, stored or how your rights have been handled.

To raise a complaint, you can complete our complaint submission form available here and send it to us by email to facultycompliance@advocates.org.uk.

What you an expect:

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days
  • We will look into your concerns carefully and fairly
  • We aim to provide a full response without undue delay

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
