Biography

Mitchell is an experienced litigator with a broad commercial and public law practice. His experience includes corporate, construction, competition, product liability, professional negligence, property and public law disputes.

Mitchell has litigated frequently in both the Scottish and English courts, and before arbitral tribunals. He has significant experience in complex and high-value disputes, including those with international elements. He is experienced in group actions and in adjudication.

Prior to calling at the bar in 2026, Mitchell was a construction disputes solicitor at CMS and a commercial litigation solicitor at Pinsent Masons.
