Biography
James Findlay specialises in local government, planning, environment, administrative, compulsory purchase and licensing law.
James Findlay (QC England & Wales) called to the Scottish Bar in November 2008 having been a practising Barrister in England & Wales since 1984, taking silk in April 2008. Since calling he has developed a practice both in the Court of Session and at inquiry whilst maintaining his English practice. He has several recommendations in both Legal 500 and Chambers for his work in both Scotland and England
Appointed Standing Junior to the Scottish Government from 2013 and is Chair of SPLGEBG, he lives near Perth.
