Biography
Iain has 12 years litigation experience as a solicitor, including 11 years at Levy & McRae Solicitors LLP. His practice focuses on criminal, regulatory, inquiry and reparation work, where he brings extensive advocacy experience from appearances in summary and solemn trials, fatal accident inquiries, professional disciplinary proceedings, regulatory hearings and tribunals.
Throughout his career, Iain has represented a broad range of individuals and organisations- including members of the Scottish Police Federation, the Association of Scottish Police Superintendents, the Fostering Network, the Prison Officers’ Association (Scotland) and the Air Line Pilots Association, as well as high-net-worth individuals and professionals such as solicitors, doctors, gamekeepers, teachers and company directors. He was also the named legal representative for a senior police officer in the Sheku Bayoh Public Inquiry. During devilling, he has gained experience in medical negligence and personal injury litigation.
