In that role, he assisted senior members of the judiciary in a wide range of appellate matters across all types of civil and criminal cases. During that time, he developed a keen interest in criminal appeals.
Whilst devilling, Darren gained greater knowledge and experience of professional and clinical negligence and regulation, commercial law and media law.
Darren previously trained and practised as a solicitor at a firm specialising in asylum and immigration matters. His practice also included reparation and employment law.
