Biography
Dale has over twenty years’ experience in all types of court work. His usual sphere of activity is the criminal courts of Scotland, specialising in serious common law and statutory crime.
Dale has been a case law reporter, prosecutor (Procurator Fiscal Depute), University tutor and lecturer. He has undertaken a wide variety of criminal cases including murder, rape, firearms, RTA, drugs, trafficking, sexual offences, fraud and health & safety work. He has been involved in a number of successful high profile appeals involving complex legal issues. Dale also has expertise in financial crime cases. He has given advice in a wide range of civil and criminal court and tribunal matters in relation to tax and contractual issues. He not only advises on civil disputes, but also drafts documents for court and contracts for private and commercial clients. His primary interest is trial and appellate work but he will consider any action and cause.
