Biography
Caitlin called to the Bar in 2025 as a Faculty Scholar and Lord Hope Scholar.
Caitlin specialises in commercial litigation, professional liability and public law.
She has extensive expertise in commercial disputes, which sees her frequently instructed in company law disputes, breach of contract claims and intellectual property and media law cases. She has substantial experience in complex insolvency matters, often involving cross-border elements. Her practice includes group proceedings. In her professional liability practice, Caitlin represents clients across a wide variety of sectors (both as pursuer and defender).
Caitlin maintains a dynamic public law practice, with a focus on public procurement disputes. She has represented participants at complex fatal accident inquiries and has significant experience in judicial review and professional disciplinary proceedings.
Before calling, she spent six years as a commercial litigator at leading international firms, including a period in Jersey. She tutors in Company and Commercial Law, and previously International Media Law, at the University of Edinburgh.
