Biography

Aimée has practised in both the private and public sectors. She has a wide range of experience, having worked for a leading personal injury firm before moving to a large commercial litigation practice. She thereafter developed a criminal and regulatory practice.

She has served as a Procurator Fiscal Depute. Latterly she was appointed to the Scottish Fatalities Investigation Unit, where she investigated and presented Fatal Accident Inquiries.  Aimée has prosecuted and defended criminal cases in courts across Scotland. She has also acted in a wide variety of personal injury actions.

Aimée has an interest in professional disciplinary law, having successfully represented clients before the SSSC, NMC and the Office of the Traffic Commissioner.

As a solicitor, she was part of the legal team representing a core participant in the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry. Whilst devilling, she was involved in the UK and Scottish COVID Inquiries and the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.

During devilling, Aimée developed her interest in public law and gained considerable experience of judicial review.
