Advocate joins new FAI working group

The Faculty’s Jillian Martin-Brown has been appointed a member of a working group set up by the Scottish Civil Justice Council (SCJC) to take forward legislative changes to inquiries into fatal accidents and sudden deaths.

Before calling to the Bar in 2010, Ms Martin-Brown was a solicitor who represented the Scottish Prison Service in more than 25 Fatal Accident Inquiries. Last year, she was appointed Standing Junior Counsel to the Scottish Government.
