Employment law under the microscope

Preparations are being finalised for the Annual Conference of the Faculty of Advocates Employment Law Group.

The event is on Monday, 20 June, in the Faculty’s Mackenzie Building.

“The Group is delighted that Lord Drummond Young will give the keynote speech,” said ELG Chair, Alice Stobart.

 “He will look at recent cases in contract law and their impact on employment law.”

The programme also features talks by Ms Stobart (professional discipline: to what extent does it overlap with employment law?), Ken McGuire (human rights and employment law), Maurice O’Carroll (disability discrimination and mental health), Alasdair Hardman (race discrimination), Greg Cunningham (ET procedure: recent important cases) and Brian Napier, QC (devolution and employment law).
