Biography

Ahmed called to the Bar in 2026 as a Lord Hope Scholar.

His devilling focused on professional negligence, construction, insurance and property disputes.

Before calling to the Bar, Ahmed qualified and practised as a solicitor. He trained at a specialist litigation firm in Edinburgh and went on to practise at DAC Beachcroft and then Kennedys. He acted on both sides of commercial and insurance litigation on behalf of insurers, corporate clients and private individuals. He appeared regularly in the Sheriff Courts and instructed counsel in Court of Session litigation.
