Everything environmental at annual conference

04 Oct

ENVIRONMENTAL justice and the key issue of accessing it will be put under the microscope at the annual Scottish conference of the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA), with contributions by several members of Faculty.

Delegates at the event, in Edinburgh on Thursday, 5 October, will be given an update on case law by James Findlay, QC, and Denis Garrity, Advocate, while Robert Sutherland, Advocate, is to look at air quality issues.

Sir Crispin Agnew, QC, a patron of UKELA, is sure to provoke a lively debate as he asks, “Does Wednesbury protect the environment?” and examines the need for an environmental court.
