Sleeping in the park…for a good cause

08 Nov

THE first frost of winter has been a stark reminder of the hardship faced by the homeless, and what lies in store for a group of five members and staff of Faculty who are to take part in Sleep in the Park.

The event by Social Bite will see 9,000 people sleeping overnight in Princes Street Gardens, aiming to raise £4 million for the fight against homelessness.

Advocates Andrew Bowen, QC, Graham Dunlop and Roddy MacLeod, with clerks Emma Potter and Andrew Veitch, have signed up for “the world’s largest ever sleep-out” on 9 December.

Details on how to sponsor them can be found at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=terra-firma-chambers
