Stepping up for Pedometer Challenge II

16 Jan

The step-counters have been dusted off and the resolve to fight festive excess is strong – the Faculty’s Pedometer Challenge is back!

Last year’s inaugural challenge, introduced as part of a well-being initiative, saw staff clock up an impressive combined 18,278 miles, and those marching from winter into spring over the next eight weeks will be determined to post similar figures.

“It was a great success last year and everyone felt the benefits of getting out for a lunch-time walk to blow away the cobwebs. I’m sure the enthusiasm will be just as keen this year – and it will be just as competitive, if not more so,” said Julie Fitzpatrick, HR Manager.

Seven teams will compete for the title of Top Walkers, while Ross McLauchlan (Finance) defends his individual title.
