Terrorism theme for this year’s Macfadyen Lecture

The seventh Macfadyen Lecture staged by the Scottish Council of Law Reporting will be given by Sir Anthony Campbell on the subject of “Terrorism and the Rule of Law”.

The lectures are in memory of the Rt Hon Lord (Donald) Macfadyen who died in 2008, and this year’s event is on 9 March at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 22-26 George Street, Edinburgh.

Sir Anthony Campbell is a former Lord Justice of Appeal of Northern Ireland and has chaired two major inquiries in Scotland, the Fingerprint Inquiry (2011) and the Inquiry into Crown Decision-Making in the Case of the Murder of Surjit Singh Chhokar (2001).
