Challenges to the Rule of Law at Home and Abroad

THE Faculty of Advocates' Human Rights and Rule of Law Committee is organising a seminar on "Challenges to the Rule of Law at Home and Abroad", chaired by The Hon. Lady Scott.

Jessica Simor QC and Paul Seils, Vice President of the International Centre for Transitional Justice, will speak at the early evening event on Friday 29th September at the Mackenzie Building, 192 High Street, Edinburgh.

Jessica Simor QC is recognised as one of the country’s leading specialists in public/regulatory, EU and human rights law, and has acted for a wide range of clients, including large companies, regulators, government departments, NGOs and private individuals. She has particular experience in privacy/data protection, tax, regulatory and competition law across different industries and in civil liberties work.

Paul Seils was formerly Head of Situational Analysis in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court.
