12 Oct

Registration is open for the 2015 Conference of the Faculty’s Employment Law Group (ELG), which will feature an address by the head of employment tribunals in Scotland.

The event is being held in the Mackenzie Building on the morning of Tuesday, 3 November.

Alice Stobart, chair of the ELG conference, said: "The conference this year promises to be very topical and interesting with Shona Simon, President of the Employment Tribunals in Scotland sharing the latest information on Government proposals to change the fee structure, and Brian Napier, QC, updating us on the current holiday pay debate."

There will also be contributions by Donald Cameron (general case law update), David Hay (discrimination case law update) and Ken McGuire (strikes and the new trade union laws), with time also set aside for general discussion and questions.
