Biography
James Wolffe served as Dean of the Faculty of Advocates from 2014 to 2016 and as Lord Advocate from 2016 to 2021.
He has extensive experience of both commercial and public law and has been instructed for cases at all levels, including the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and the European Court of Human Rights.
James has also been called to the bar of England & Wales (2013) and is a Bencher of Middle Temple. He is a door tenant at Brick Court Chambers, London.
