Biography
As Senior Counsel he has successfully presented many high-profile actions for the successful party. He served as Crown Counsel between 1997 and 2000. Subsequently he has been instructed in a number of important cases at first instance and appellate level. He is currently a consultant to the Crown’s Covid Deaths Investigation Team. He has been a member of the Parole Board for Scotland since 2018 and has been an arbitrator for the Motor Insurers Bureau cases since 2021.
