Biography
Shelagh brings extensive experience of first instance and appellate advocacy.
She has appeared in many high-profile, sensitive and complex cases – as leader, alone, and as junior. She is known for being innovative in developing legal argument in challenging cases. As well as her extensive expertise in criminal law and human rights, she has significant experience of private security industry licensing, data protection, health and safety, and professional misconduct proceedings. She was formerly employed by the United Nations practising international criminal law and international humanitarian law.
