Biography
Ruth Crawford practises in public law, including all aspects of planning and environmental law, and public procurement law, her practice also includes commercial disputes, and professional negligence and regulation.
Ruth has appeared in Courts and Tribunals at all levels in Scotland, and in the Supreme Court. Ruth has experience in complex and lengthy litigations and inquiries. Ruth receives instructions from the UK and Scottish Government, local government and other public bodies (such as the Scottish Legal Aid Board, the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission and the Financial Conduct Authority), as well as by private corporations and individuals.
Ruth is ranked in Chambers UK in the areas of administrative and public law, and planning and environment. She is ranked as a leading silk in Legal 500 in the areas of civil liberties, human rights, public inquiries and public and administrative law; and planning, environment and licensing.
