Biography

Rachel specialises in commercial and public law. She has particular experience in competition law disputes, including group proceedings and class actions.

Prior to calling to the Bar in 2023, Rachel trained and practised as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. As a solicitor she advised on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes with a particular focus on follow-on damages actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal. Additionally, she acted for third party interveners in judicial review proceedings. Rachel also has experience in international arbitration, including complex contractual disputes, claims arising under international investment treaties, and sports law disputes. During devilling, Rachel gained additional experience in media law and professional negligence. Rachel previously undertook a legal traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union.
