Biography

Nicholas called to the Bar in 2020, after 5 years in practice as a solicitor.

Before calling to the Bar, Nicholas was a solicitor within the construction litigation team of a large Scottish law firm. In that role, Nicholas advised on the broad range of disputes involved in the construction and engineering sector, and developed expertise in resolving those disputes across forums (including the Sheriff Court and Court of Session, Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation).

While devilling, Nicholas built upon his existing construction law experience, and also gained experience of broader commercial and planning disputes.
