Biography
Luise Locke called to the Scottish Bar in 2000.
Prior to calling, Luise practised as a solicitor and partner at Murray Beith Murray, WS, specialising in conveyancing. She has extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of land use law covering agricultural, residential and commercial leases, rights in security over land, neighbour/boundary disputes, judicial review of planning decisions, land obligations, land registration, rating, rectification of title, variation/termination of title conditions, servitudes, tenement law and common property disputes, public access rights/core paths under the Land Reform Act. Luise has acted in a number of recent cases relevant to restrictive covenants over land and most recently has been advising on CAP Reform Regulations including cattle passports and subsidy (SFP) eligibility.
