Biography

Kenneth’s areas of particular interest are commercial, property, and all types of public law disputes.

Kenneth conducts proofs, debates, appeals, and tribunal hearings on a wide range of matters. These have related to property law, unjustified enrichment, decisions of public bodies, equalities legislation, international private law, housing, and commercial disputes.

He frequently provides written opinions, and does so alone or as part of a team with senior counsel.

Kenneth trained at Brodies LLP. Before starting his legal career he served as a councillor, where he sat on committees which heard applications for various kinds of licences.

With a strong academic background, Kenneth graduated as the first-placed student in his graduate LLB programme. He tutored in Civil Law at the University of Edinburgh for a number of years, and was a Lord Hope Scholar at the Faculty of Advocates in 2021/22.
