Biography
Julianna has a wide ranging practice encompassing family law, mental health and professional negligence and is instructed in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court.
She is instructed in permanence order petitions on behalf of local authorities and parents. Julianna frequently appears in residence and contact actions, referral proofs and appeals, and has acted in child abduction petitions and other types of cross border proceedings.
Building on her 12 years as a solicitor in private practice Julianna has experience in divorce actions and cohabitation claims and is regularly instructed in both types of case.
Julianna also advises in matters involving incapable adults and has been instructed by patients, local authorities and a health board in mental health cases.
Julianna is a contributor to Butterworth's Family Law Service and is secretary of the Advocates' Family Law Association.
