Biography
His experience includes contract disputes, construction disputes, claims by commercial agents and real estate litigation. Jonathan is also regularly involved in pursuing and defending professional negligence claims against construction professionals, solicitors, actuaries and financial advisors.
After a spell working as a journalist and in the Chinese Art department at Sotheby’s, Jonathan called to the Bar in 2003. Since then, he has been involved in wide range of commercial and public law litigation. He was involved in bringing the first derivative action in Scotland under the Companies Act 2006 in which he obtained the first “Wallersteiner Order” to be awarded in Scotland. In public law, Jonathan has been regularly instructed in judicial reviews both for and against public authorities. He is currently a standing junior for the Scottish Government.
