Geoffrey specialises in cases involving clinical negligence (where he is instructed on behalf of both pursuers and defenders) and professional negligence.
Geoffrey called to the Bar in 1992. He took silk in 2009. He is regularly instructed in public and local inquiries. Between 2001 and 2005 he was an Advocate Depute and Senior Advocate Depute (High Court prosecutor).
