Biography

Euan has been instructed in a wide range of cases involving common law and statutory offences including numerous murders, rapes, frauds and prosecutions under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Euan called at the bar in 2006 having been a Procurator Fiscal Depute in Glasgow for 5 years where he mainly prosecuted sheriff and jury trials.

Euan has built up a varied practice in criminal defence work. At the High Court he has appeared as junior counsel alone, as well as junior to senior counsel in some of the most high profile criminal trials in Scotland in recent years.

Euan has built up considerable experience from his time as a prosecutor and defence counsel.

Euan maintains a keen interest in law and technology and the ways technology can assist practitioners. He is one of the founding contributors and owners of "Casecheck" the country’s most widely distributed free legal online resource.
