Biography
David Thomson is an experienced advocate who practises exclusively in commercial dispute resolution and he is particularly experienced in the fields of insolvency, company law and commercial leasing/property litigation.
He appears regularly in Commercial Court and in the Inner House of the Court of Session. He has appeared in a number of important appeals before the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.
He is ranked Band 1 in Chambers 2015 for Company, Real Estate Litigation and Restructuring/Insolvency.
He has been a Standing Junior to the Advocate General for Scotland since 2009 (having previously been a Standing Junior to the Scottish Ministers from 2005-2009).
