Biography
David, although practicing in a variety of areas, primarily practices in the areas of Family Law, Mental Health & Incapacity and Prison Law.
In the field of Family Law, he has been involved in a range of cases involving children and adults, including cohabitants financial claims on death and otherwise.
He has a particular interest in the field of Mental Health & Incapacity. As well as being involved in a wide variety of cases he has also been asked to speak in this area, including in conjunction with the Scottish Law Commission and at the Law Society of Scotland's Mental Health & Incapacity Conference 2014.
In the field of Prison Law, he has been involved in cases challenging decisions of the Parole Board for Scotland, as well as cases against the Scottish Ministers (including prisoner progression).
He is a friendly and approachable member of the junior Bar.
