Biography
Clare was admitted as a solicitor in 1993 and called to the Bar in 2013 and since then she has developed a successful practice combining reparation, regulatory crime, health and safety, criminal trials and appeals.
In addition, Clare has represented pursuers in cases of damages for wrongful detention, appellants in extradition cases, employers in employment tribunals and both pursuers and defenders in reparation cases. Clare is the editor of Green's Criminal Law Bulletin and Renton and Brown's Statutory Fraud publications. Clare provides training to the Health and Safety Executive, Central Law Training, the Solicitors Group and University of Glasgow on a range of subjects including human rights, criminal law, health and safety and reparation.
