Biography
Ann comes to the Bar with 11 years’ experience as a Solicitor, with extensive experience of preparing and conducting complex cases and a rigorous approach to case preparation.
Ann’s practice is primarily in the areas of personal injury law and clinical negligence, but she maintains an interest in health and safety law, fatal accident enquiries and criminal law.
Ann studied business at University of Glasgow, and law at the University of Edinburgh where she completed her Ph.D. researching the application of statistical models when managing risk.
Between 2012 – 2017 Ann prosecuted in the Sheriff and Jury courts. She dealt with many complex trials including historic sexual and domestic abuse, brothel keeping and financial crimes. Ann assists the Judicial Institute with their training programme.
