Biography

Jordanna practiced as an asylum and immigration solicitor before calling to the Bar in 2022.

She appeared regularly in the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal representing clients in asylum, immigration and deportation appeals. She has a particular interest in refugee law, with a focus on victims of human trafficking and torture.

As a devil she gained broader public law and judicial review experience in challenges to housing association decisions, local authority foster care arrangements, and a decision of Crown Estates Scotland.

Also, during her devilling, Jordanna gained experience in personal injury actions such as workplace accidents, industrial disease, product liability, stress at work claims, and occupier and public liability claims both for pursuers and defenders.  She also gained experience in clinical negligence actions including many complex cases involving death and permanent disablement of adults and children, claims relating to obstetric, midwifery, dental, and GP negligence, both for pursuers and defenders.
