Biography
Alan Inglis areas of practice are family law, including child protection and child abduction, mental health and incapacity including human rights claims arising in those areas.
Alan Inglis has more that twenty-five years experience of practice at the Bar at the highest level.
His professional experience prior to admission includes being a senior social worker and extensive practice at the London Bar. He holds a current practicing certificate for the English Bar and is the only Counsel practicing family law in both jurisdictions. He has extensive publications particularly in historical child abuse claims and alternative family structures.
His career history includes numerous cases of physical and sexual child abuse, factitious illness and serious emotional harm. He has frequently represented and taken direct instructions from children and young person who are subject to proceedings.
