The Stable
The counsel in the Hastie Stable provide agents with a full range of knowledge and expertise in all areas of legal services. The experience of the membership covers the whole breadth and scope of professional practice. Clerks can provide outline descriptions of members' experience in particular areas of work through their database of all members curriculum vitae.

The Stable adopts a flexible approach to fee rendering. Members are willing to enter into fee agreements prior to work being undertaken. Estimates can be provided and we are willing to negotiate "rates" for large or "bulk" instructions, for example, trade union backed cases/insurance company backed cases/local authority cases and those from other organisations. All Clerks will advise on individual counsels' experience, availability, timescales and cost.

With new advocates joining the Stable each year we are well placed to assist overworked agents in responding to pressing needs on a cost-effective basis.
