Continuing Education

Introduction
Education does not stop with admission to practice. Continuing professional education has long been a part of the life of the Faculty, and has more recently been formalised in a Continuing Professional Development scheme, which requires all practising members of Faculty to complete a total of 10 hours accredited continuing professional development (CPD) in each calendar year. This section is designed to help members of Faculty get the most from the services which the Training and Education Department has to offer.

The Faculty's Training & Education Department accredits and monitors the provision of courses to ensure that all practising advocates can benefit from relevant, worthwhile and affordable continuing professional development.

All practising members are issued with a CPD Information Pack which contains full details about the Faculty's CPD Scheme.
