Biography

Susanne called to the Bar in 2000 and over the last fifteen years she has built up and maintained a quality practice spanning:
- reparation law, including personal injury and clinical negligence
- criminal law - first instance work
- criminal appeals
- Fatal Accident Enquiries
- property law and conveyancing
- commercial law
- alternative dispute resolution.

In September 2014 Susanne successfully completed over three years of public service as an Advocate Depute in Crown Office. In that role she appeared as the leader in numerous high profile and complex criminal cases in Scotland's High Courts and in the criminal Appeal Court, as well as appearing in the Supreme Court.

Her professional practice is complemented by a variety of academic appointments at Universities and Susanne is regularly involved in professional training, qualification and CPD for legal and other professionals.

Susanne is the Executive Editor of Green’s Scottish Education Manual.
