Biography

His practice includes general administrative law, regulation,    local government, social work, mental health, human rights and judicial review.

Mr Blair has a strong interest in public law. He holds a  First Class Degree in Public Law and he called in 2000.  He has a wide practice in public law with an   emphasis on licensing law, local government and human rights. His licensing experience covers many areas, including liquor, civic government, betting and gaming, transport and miscellaneous matters. He has been listed in the Legal 500 for his expertise in licensing law for a number of years. He has been instructed in cases in the European Court of Human Rights and the courts in Scotland, including the Supreme Court.   His human rights practice is reflected in his appointment to the “A List” of counsel of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
