Biography

Richard Aird is an Advocate and qualified Barrister engaged in the general area of Commercial law and Cross Border Litigation.

Before being called to the English Bar, Richard followed a career in the City. Richard is Contributing Editor of one of the leading textbooks on those fields: Commercial Litigation: Pre- Emptive Remedies. He was also co- author of The Scots Dimension to Cross Border Litigation, one of the first modern text books in this area. He is regularly invited to speak at and chair Conferences .
        

Richard Aird whose practice includes arbitrations, insolvency, directors liabilities and guarantees is described in recent editions of Legal 500 as follows; ‘a very experienced and extremely competent advocate, with great commercial ability’.
