Biography

Julie called to the Bar in June 2013 having been a solicitor in private practice for 9 years and in Local Government for a further 7 years, as such she has experience of advising clients and providing representation in both courts and tribunals on behalf of both private and commercial clients as well as local authorities.

She has particular interest in all matters affecting local government and in land law having specialized in private practices in property litigation disputes.
She is the co-editor of The Law of Dilapidations in Scotland (2nd  edition). Julie is a tutor in the Civil and Advanced Civil Court Practice courses of the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow and is a Legally qualified chair to Scottish Social Services Council.
