Biography

In the Legal 500 he has been described as “highly effective” in high-value professional indemnity litigation and has been “highly recommended for contractual, property and insolvency disputes.”

Gordon has developed an extensive practice in many different areas of law. 

He has substantial experience in property damage cases, many involving complex claims of high value.  He is regularly instructed in professional negligence actions.  He has extensive experience in high value reparation claims arising out of catastrophic injury (both spinal and brain injury); fatal accidents; and industrial disease.

He has particular expertise in actions involving the European Convention on Human Rights having appeared in leading cases before the Inner House, Privy Council and Supreme Court.

He has considerable experience in regulatory and health and safety matters.
