Biography
Sir Crispin Agnew of Lochnaw has a specialised practice in rural property law, covering all issues affecting a landed estate, including conveyancing, fishing and sporting, nature conservation and other planning and environmental law issues, agricultural law, landlord and tenant, compulsory purchase and in relation to wind farm and hydro scheme development.
He regularly appears in the Scottish Land Court and in the Court of Session and has appeared in the Court of Justice of the EU. He has a public law practice on all aspects of local authority law including judicial review, planning, licensing, education and public authority commercial contracts. He is author of published legal text books on Agricultural Law, Crofting Law, Liquor Licensing and the Discharge and Variation of Title Conditions. He regularly lectures at PQLE Conferences. He is a patron of UKELA and Chairman of the Crofting Law Group. He is a qualified mediator.
