Alastair Kinroy QC called to the Bar in 1987. His practice has been purely civil and very varied. He welcomes complex and demanding cases.
Alastair was a court solicitor in Edinburgh before calling to the Bar in 198. His practice includes Inner and Outer House experience in a wide range of cases: reclaiming motions, proofs, judicial review hearings, procedure roll debates etc. Alastair's practice has been mostly in the Court of Session. Commercial work has been a significant part of his practice, as have professional negligence cases. His practice also includes Bankruptcy, Property Law, some Agricultural Holdings cases and other work. Between 2011-2014 Alastair Kinroy was Senior Counsel to Greater Glasgow Health Board in the Vale of Leven Hospital Public Inquiry. More recently he has been instructed in a series of medical negligence cases.
