Biography

Alasdair's bar practice has a high degree of specialisation in employment and discrimination law. He is instructed by employers, directors, partnerships, trade unions, employees, and workers.

Alasdair Hardman called to the Bar in 2000. Before then, he was a litigation partner, then managing partner, of a large Scottish law firm, and then managing director of a Regional Newspaper Group. He is a Sloan Fellow of London Business School. His background is thus in both business and law.  Every case in which he is instructed, whether Employment Tribunal, Sheriff Court, or Court of Session, has a work or discrimination aspect.
